Methanol prices remain steady in the US.

Petrotahlil :Last week, despite weaker upstream energy values and softer regional buying interests, methanol prices were assessed stable in the United States.

On Friday, methanol prices were assessed at the 78.50 cents/gallon FOB US Gulf mark, unchanged week on week.

In Europe, methanol prices on Friday were at the Euro 204/mt FOB Rotterdam levels, a drop of Euro 8/mt from the previous week.

Meanwhile in Asia, on Friday, methanol prices were assessed at the USD 243/mt CFR China levels, a week on week gain of USD 2/mt.
