Ferromatik Milacron announces new location, management.
Petrotahlil :Frromatik Milacron GmbH German supplier of injection moulding machinery Ferromatik Milacron GmbH has moved its production headquarters from Malterdingen to the nearby town of Teningen, southern Germany.
The new location offers 900 square metres of office space, 1000 square metres for application technology, as well as space for service and support, the company said in a statement 10 Oct.
Concurrent with the relocation, the Milacron-owned machinery maker has appointed company veteran Winfried Stöcklin as its new managing director.
With a mechanical engineering degree, Stöcklin has worked with Ferromatik over the past 35 years.
“I am convinced that we can understand the needs of our customers very well and, in particular, be able to respond optimally to the needs of the various production companies,” said the new business head upon accepting the position.
At the new site, the company will extend its production capabilities to produce machinery with clamping force ranging from 300 kN to 40,000 kN, according to Stöcklin.
In addition, Ferromatik will focus on support, service and machine maintenance, as well as the supply of original spare parts and components for its machinery, at the new location.
Part of Cincinnati, Ohio-based Milacron since 1993, Ferromatik develops, builds, and sells injection moulding machines for the production of plastic parts.
Ferromatik’s machinery is used in industries such as automotive, packaging, consumer goods, medical and electrical & telecommunication.
Founded in 1956 the company employs 500 people across 50 countries.
